APPROVAL OF AN AMENDED CONTRACT FOR SALE OF THE OLD TRIAD SITE
Description
On October 4, 2011, the School Board approved a contract to sell the previous site of the Triad program at the corner of Sawyer and Wilkinson, with a closing date of January 31, 2012. An amendment is necessary as the site has been vandalized and has sustained severe damage to the HVAC units. The proposed action decreases the sale price by the repair estimate of $26,126.64. In the meantime, the district has upgraded the site's security system to inhibit additional damage prior to closing.
Recommendation
That the School Board approve the amended contract for sale of the old Triad site as presented.
